Brewing The Perfect Cup

Follow the life of a coffee bean from farm to bistro barista and discover the algebra of coffee roasting. On an average day, 195 lbs of green coffee beans yields 165 lbs of roasted beans when roasted at approximately 400 degrees for 15 minutes. But every coffee blend has a unique mixture of variables that must be considered. Buying, roasting, and distributing coffee beans is a career that involves hours of algebra and science.
